  • The Wagner family starts producing wooden reeds and supplies the Upper Franconian weavers
1920
  • Foundation of the first metal processing reed factory by Theodor Wagner at the Münchberg site
1974
  • The Swiss entrepreneur Karl Tomaschek takes over the Wagner reed factory. The company name Wagner is retained due to its positive reputation
1982
  • Production of the world's longest weaving reed in Münchberg with a length of 24 meters
1998
  • The Künzel family takes over the management of the Münchberg and Krefeld locations
1999
  • The company Wagner Webblätter receives the Hidden Champion award and manufactures the reeds used to produce the paper for the EURO banknotes
2002
  • The company becomes world market leader in the category of manufacturers of technical reeds and is renamed WBK
2008
  • The Künzel family takes over the company and renames it KUENZEL advanced weaving technologies. They invest heavily in the expansion and production of filter and screening technology systems

  • Start of the development of 3D filter segments made of technical fibers

  • Start of test series in industry (process water filtration), in aquariums (private and public aquariums, dolphinariums), in private pools as well as in public outdoor and indoor swimming pools, washing facilities, fish farming and other areas

  • Launch of Pure Flow Filtersysteme GmbH at the Münchberg site

  • PureFlow is granted a patent by the Patent Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, and PureFlow also wins the Bavarian Family Entrepreneurs' Award in the INNOVATION category

  • PureFlow starts with the positive development of special cartridge filters as well as filters for the home and garden sector and starts production three months later

  • PureFlow begins positive development of innovative skimmer filters and starts production four months later

  • PureFlow strengthens the company and its international presence worldwide. New sales locations and a central consulting center for industry, trade and users have been established

  • PureFlow receives certification for filter material for swimming and bathing pools in accordance with the KSW recommendation of the Federal Health Office

  • PureFlow receives certification for the drinking water sector in accordance with DVGW / DIN EN 16421
